The Paroli System

Also known as the Anti-Martingale System

This is a positive progression system, meaning that you increase bets as you win.

In contrast to the Martingale System (also described in detail on this site), with the Paroli System you start off with a single bet, then increase your bets as you win, rather than as you lose.

You do, however, need to determine a couple of factors in advance of beginning to play:

• You must select a cap for yourself - an uppermost point at which you will stop increasing your wagers and take your bet back to the initial amount you started with.

• You must determine how much you intend to increase your bet each time you
  win.

What you decide, of course, will be heavily determined by the game you are playing and its odds.

The advantage to the Paroli System is that you can play for a long time with a limited bankroll as you let your profits run and you cut your losses.
