Slots Rules

Slots might very well be the simplest games to play online. Heck, you don't even need to pull a lever, as you would in a land-based situation.

In a nutshell, simply select the size of the coins you wish to wager by clicking on the button for the numerical value of the coin, then select the number of coins to "drop" into the machine by clicking BET ONE once, twice, etc. or BET MAX to bet the maximum number of coins and thus be eligible to win on all pay-lines (in multi-line slots).

Then just click the SPIN button to "pull the lever", and watch it go!

In the horizontal line that appears across the center of the slot machine's screen, a sequence of symbols appears. Certain sequences reward you with nothing, and certain sequences reward you with varying amounts of coins all the way up to the declared Jackpot. Jackpots vary depending on the machine and upon how many coins the player inserted into the machine before "spinning".

A key (or legend) generally appears on the side of the machine informing players of what sequences result in what amount of coins awarded.

Though slots can fall into many categories - single line or multi-line, reel or video, etc. -there are two basic delineations of slots that you should concern yourself with: straight slots and progressive slots.

In a straight slot (or a "regular" slot), the prizes are awarded exactly as explained above.

However, with a progressive slot, the jackpot increases as more and more players take their chances on the machine without anyone winning until, eventually, one player walks away with a larger jackpot than a player could win on any regular/straight slot.

One integral factor in progressive slots is that, in order to win the jackpot, a player must wager the maximum number of coins in a turn.
